Block by block, day by day, Delvin put another square rock on the top of his stack. Up, down, left and right were all that there was to his world. He knew there was more though, the non-square proved that. As the sun block rose he was outside of his house stacking the blocks higher and higher.  He had to get to the non-square. No one else understood, how didn’t they see? Up there in the sky, it was smooth, no edges at all. There was nothing anyone had ever seen like this. How could the others live without knowing? He stacked another block jumping up. Up, that was where the non-square was. Up there with the white dots in the sky.

Every day he got closer to the non-square. It seemed to move slowly spinning. It was so not square; he hardly even knew what to think of it. In a world filled with edges and lines this was completely different. Smooth, like a line that continued forever except it connected back with itself. He pulled another square out and set it in place. His rectangular fingers and square hands putting it carefully on top of the last one.  Delvin jumped up landing on his square shoed feet. He would do this until he reached the non-square, no matter what the others said about him he had to know, and he would.

***

He looked up and saw the spinning non-square moving along in its lazy way. It seemed like it was drawing him closer. Jumping was easier now, it had something to do with the non-square. He was sure of it. He hardly came down anymore, when he did it was only to get more blocks for his stack. Every so often Delvin would look down to see one of the others stopped and looking at what he made. He would never get them, how they could stand not knowing, he thought stacking another block. Careful not to jump too high lest he miss his mark and fall to the ground. It was worth the risk though, to know what the non-square was. He would figure it out when he got close enough.

The sun block moved across the sky and his blocks rose higher. The moon block came out and he continued his stack. He was fully among the white dots in the sky now. He could feel the non-square drawing at him. Its pull was insistent. The pull on his soul to know wouldn’t leave him alone either. There was no stopping now, he was too close. He would show the others when he knew more About the non-square. He would show them a whole new world, the world of non-squares. He pulled out his last block and stacked it. Stepping on it gingerly he looked up at the non-square as it slowly spun. He reached his square hand up, standing on the tips of his square toes.
Delvin felt the pull of the non-square, it felt like he could float away. He continued to reach up and gently pushed himself away from the stack. It didn’t feel like he was moving at first but he looked down and his feet had left the stack, he was gently falling. Not down however, he was falling up, toward the non-square. He felt a rush as he fell into the non-square. Excitement and fear waring inside him. He would know soon, regardless of what happened he would know, and that was all that was important.

***

He began to speed up as he got closer to the non-square. Faster and faster he moved closing in on the unknown. He kept going into the non-square until all he knew was speed. Movement was all. Form, color, everything that he had known had been left behind. Velocity was all he knew, and then he knew everything, saw everything. It was so much he didn’t understand. New sensations he didn’t think were possible, though it lasted only an instant.

With a sudden flash he was somewhere else. He was still moving but he was falling away from the non-square now. As he did so he was slowly spinning, but it wasn’t up and down left and right, it was something else. He noticed then that his body was different as he looked up down, left and right and this new direction. With shock he looked at himself and discovered that he was now non-square. His body did something strange a sudden intake of something, something that was there but he couldn’t see. He was inside some kind of hard clothing he didn’t understand he put his new non-square hand to his face but was stopped by some invisible barrier. He felt odd and confused as he spun he noticed there was an object that he was heading to, in that new direction. The object was non-square but some places it looked square. It was through an opening in the object that some sort of hand came out and gently took hold of him, pulling him until all he could see was the object in all directions, both the old ones and the new.

The first thing Delvin heard was a rushing sound. The rushing sound slowly finished and a door opened as he looked on in the new direction. Then watched as some non-square others rushed in talking urgently, “Derreck, Derreck are you alright.” One of them said as they took off the non-square clothing he had on. He looked at them for a long moment as they asked him if he was alright over and over. “Derreck say something.” One of them shouted. Delvin shuttered stunned by the suddenness of the outburst, “Y…y…you’re not square.”
Polished it up a bit improved some of the phrasing. It should be done now.

Good job babe. Has a very Minecraft feel :3. Also like the philosophical aspect of trans-versing from 2D to 3D. I also like how these square people call it a 'Non-Square' since they can't think of a word for 'circle', lol. Guess it could have been Black Void, but that takes the fun out of it! Haha!
